More Details on Our Top Picks
Squishmallows Original Holiday Micromallows Plush Bouquet
This adorable plush bouquet stands out for its festive charm, featuring three tiny characters perfect for holiday décor or gifting. Compared to the larger Squishmallows Holiday Fox 14” Plush, these Micromallows are much smaller and less cuddly but excel in portability and display options. The small size limits their use for cuddling, making them more suited for decoration or small gift exchanges. The inclusion of three characters offers variety, but fans looking for a plush to hug might find them too tiny. These are ideal for collectors or kids who enjoy miniatures, but not for those seeking plush toys for cuddling or play. Overall, this set is a charming, compact holiday gift for fans of tiny plush collectibles.
Pros:- Cute holiday-themed characters for seasonal décor
- Detachable, portable size for easy display or gifting
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic design
Cons:- Limited size reduces cuddle or play value
- Only includes three characters, limiting variety
Best for: Collectors or fans wanting festive, display-ready miniatures.
Not ideal for: Children seeking large, cuddly plush toys for play or hugging.
- Size:2.5 inches
- Includes:3 Micromallows plush characters
- Characters:Laurel the Christmas Tree, Zumir the Peppermint Moose, Brooke the Polar Bear
- Material:Soft plush
Our verdict“This pick is perfect for fans of miniature collectibles or holiday décor, but less suited for cuddling or active play.”
Squishmallows 5in Zumir The Green Moose Plush
This 5-inch Zumir the Green Moose offers a balance of softness and collectible appeal, making it a good choice for those who want a plush that’s portable yet cuddly. Compared with the larger Squishmallows Holiday Fox 14” Plush, Zumir’s smaller size makes it more travel-friendly, but less impactful as a display piece. The plush’s ultrasoft material ensures comfort, yet its small size limits its role as a primary cuddly companion for young children. Fans of character backstories will appreciate Zumir’s unique bio, adding a layer of personality that larger plushes may lack. This plush makes the most sense for collectors or kids who want a soft, portable friend, but isn’t ideal for those seeking a large, durable toy for everyday cuddling. Overall, it’s a charming, high-quality option for fans of small plush collectibles.
Pros:- Soft, ultrasoft material for cuddling
- Unique character with a fun backstory
- Official licensed product by Jazwares
Cons:- Limited size for larger display or hugging
- May not be durable enough for rough play
Best for: Collectors and kids who want a soft, portable plush for travel or display.
Not ideal for: Parents looking for a large plush for active or cuddly play, as it may be too small for younger children.
- Size:5 inches
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Brand:Jazwares
- Character:Zumir the Green Moose
Our verdict“This plush is ideal for collectors and travel-loving kids who value softness and character, but not for those needing a large cuddly friend.”
Squishmallows Holiday Fox 14” Plush
This 14-inch Holiday Fox plush offers a substantial, plush experience compared to the tiny Micromallows or 5-inch Zumir. It stands out for its softness and high-quality feel, making it a prime choice for cuddling or display. However, unlike the Squishmallows 12in Hedda the Milk for Santa, it may lack some unique features or character backstory, which could be a downside for collectors seeking more than just size. The limited size and lack of detailed info on features mean it’s not the most versatile for active play but excels as a festive, cuddly decoration. Fans of larger plushes wanting a special holiday centerpiece will find this appealing, while those seeking more intricate character details might prefer other options. Overall, this plush hits the mark for holiday cuddling and seasonal display.
Pros:- Soft, high-quality plush material
- Ideal size for cuddling and display
- Official licensed holiday product
Cons:- Limited information on features or interactive elements
- Price may be higher than smaller plush options
Best for: Families or collectors seeking a sizeable, festive plush for cuddling or holiday decoration.
Not ideal for: Parents wanting a small, travel-friendly plush for on-the-go use or for active children.
- Size:14 inches
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Theme:Holiday
Our verdict“This plush is perfect for those wanting a large, cuddly holiday centerpiece, but less suitable for small space or travel needs.”
Squishmallows Buddy the Elf 12-inch Plush
Buddy the Elf makes a strong impression for fans of the holiday movie franchise, with a 12-inch size that balances cuddling and display. Compared with the larger Squishmallows Holiday Fox 14” Plush, Buddy’s size is more manageable and perfect for collectors or children who want a character they can hold comfortably. Made with ultrasoft plush, it offers a plush experience that’s both cozy and collectible, though some children might find it too soft and lacking in durability for active play. Its licensed status adds value for fans of the franchise, but the limited size options mean it might not serve as a large, versatile plush for all uses. Overall, this plush is ideal for collectors and fans looking for a character-based holiday gift, but not for those seeking a more rugged or larger plush toy.
Pros:- Officially licensed Warner Brothers product
- Soft, high-quality plush for cuddling
- Ideal size for display or hugging
Cons:- Limited size options for larger display or play
- May be too soft for children needing more durability
Best for: Fans of the holiday film franchise and collectors seeking a festive, character plush.
Not ideal for: Parents wanting a plush for active, rough play, as its softness may reduce durability.
- Size:12 inches
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Brand:Jazwares
- Licensed:Warner Brothers
Our verdict“This plush is perfect for franchise fans and collectors who want a cozy, character-themed holiday plush, but less ideal for rugged play.”
Squishmallows Original 24-Day Micromallows Holiday Plush Advent Calendar
This advent calendar offers a festive way to count down to Christmas with 24 tiny plush characters, including favorites like Benny the Bigfoot and Cam the Cat. It stands out for its variety, making it a fun holiday activity, especially for kids and families who enjoy seasonal surprises. Compared to the larger Squishmallows Holiday Fox 14” Plush, the Micromallows are much smaller and less suited for cuddling but excel in daily excitement and gift-giving. The small size limits their appeal for collection outside the holiday season, and some might find the tiny plushes less satisfying as standalone gifts. Ideal for holiday traditions or as a stocking stuffer, this set emphasizes the fun of seasonal countdown over plush size or plush quality. It’s a smart choice for holiday-specific gifting and novelty, but less so for year-round collection or play.
Pros:- Includes a variety of holiday-themed Squishmallows
- Perfect for holiday countdowns and gifting
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal
Cons:- Very small size may not appeal as standalone plush
- Limited use outside holiday season
- Collectible value may be seasonal only
Best for: Families or children looking for a fun holiday countdown experience and small gift surprises.
Not ideal for: Collectors seeking larger plushes or those wanting plush toys for year-round display or cuddling.
- Size:2.5 inches
- Number of Items:24
- Theme:Holiday/Christmas
Our verdict“This advent calendar is excellent for adding festive fun to holiday traditions, but less suitable for year-round plush collection or active play.”
Squishmallows 12in Hedda the Milk for Santa Plush
This 12-inch Hedda plush stands out for its high-quality, ultrasoft material and unique backstory, making it a delightful gift for fans of the collection. Compared with the larger 14-inch Nick the Santa, Hedda offers a more manageable size for smaller hands or display without sacrificing softness or charm. Its limited to one character and size may be a drawback for those seeking variety or a larger plush, but its official licensing by Jazwares guarantees authenticity. While Hedda is perfect for cuddling and display, her size might be less ideal for very young children who prefer bigger, more huggable plush toys. Overall, Hedda suits collectors and kids who love detailed, character-driven plushies for hugging or display purposes.
Pros:- Soft, ultrasoft high-quality plush material for cuddling
- Unique character with a charming backstory and bio
- Official licensed product by Jazwares
Cons:- Limited to a 12-inch size, which may be small for some children
- Only available in Hedda, limiting variety for collectors
Best for: Collecting kids and fans who appreciate detailed backstories and plush display pieces
Not ideal for: Parents of very young children seeking larger, more durable plush toys for active play
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Figure Type:Stuffed Toy
- Character:Hedda
- Model Name:Style 1
- Unit Count:1
- Age Range Description:Kid
Our verdict“This plush is ideal for fans and collectors who value character details and display-friendly size over larger play plushies.”
Squishmallows Original 14in Nick the Santa Claus in Red Hawaiian Shirt – Official Holiday Plush
Nick the Santa in his festive Hawaiian shirt offers a playful twist on traditional holiday plushies, with a 14-inch size that appeals to kids who want a more substantial cuddle. Compared to Hedda’s smaller size, Nick provides a more prominent display piece and is better suited for children who prefer larger plush toys for hugging. However, its holiday-specific theme limits year-round display options, and the size could be unwieldy for very small children or for tight storage spaces. Its authenticity as an official Squishmallows product guarantees quality, but the limited character variety might not satisfy those looking for a broader collection. Overall, Nick is a smart pick for families seeking a festive, sizable plush with a fun holiday design.
Pros:- Soft, high-quality plush material for cozy hugs
- Unique holiday character with a fun Hawaiian Santa theme
- Official Squishmallows product with authenticity seal
Cons:- Limited to holiday-themed characters
- Size may be too large for small children or limited space
Best for: Families wanting a larger, festive plush to serve as holiday decor or cuddly companion
Not ideal for: Parents of very young children who prefer smaller, more manageable plush toys
- Size:14 inches
- Character:Nick the Santa Claus
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
Our verdict“Nick makes a great gift for holiday collectors or kids who love festive plush toys in a larger size.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little) (Amazon Exclusive)
This 4-pack offers a colorful mix of holiday characters like Maritza the Cactus and Tinsley the Peppermint Latte, making it perfect for gift-giving or expanding a collection. Compared to the single Hedda or Nick, this set provides variety in both characters and themes, appealing to kids and collectors who enjoy multiple plushies for stacking or display. The size, described as ‘Little,’ suggests a smaller, more manageable cuddle size, ideal for younger children or as stocking stuffers. While the set’s exclusivity to Amazon and lack of exact size details may be limiting, the high-quality, ultrasoft fabric ensures each plush is cozy and durable. Overall, this 4-pack is best for those seeking a versatile, budget-friendly holiday gift set.
Pros:- Includes four distinct, festive characters for variety
- Soft, ultrasoft high-quality fabric for cuddling
- Official Jazwares product with holiday designs
Cons:- Limited size details may affect size expectations
- Exclusively available via Amazon, reducing purchasing options
Best for: Gift-givers and collectors seeking a variety of festive plush characters in one package
Not ideal for: Buyers wanting a single large plush or specific characters outside this set
- Includes:4 Squishmallows
- Material:Ultrasoft, high-quality fabric
- Characters:Maritza, Stevon, Clayton, Tinsley
Our verdict“This plush set is ideal for holiday gift-giving or collectors who want a variety of cute characters at a good price.”
Squishmallows 8in Fleur The Yule Log Plush
Fleur the Yule Log offers a charming, compact 8-inch size that fits easily onto shelves or as a stocking stuffer, making it an appealing collectible for holiday fans. Compared with the larger 14-inch Nick or the multi-character 4-pack, Fleur is more suited for display or gifting to those who prefer smaller, decorative plush. Its festive design and official licensing guarantee quality, but its small size limits its role as a primary cuddly toy for active play. This plush makes the most sense for collectors or those seeking a holiday-themed ornament that can double as a gift or decoration. However, buyers looking for a larger, more huggable plush should look elsewhere.
Pros:- Compact 8-inch size for easy display and gifting
- Festive, unique design perfect for holiday decor
- Official Squishmallows product with a seal of authenticity
Cons:- Limited size variety, only 8 inches
- Primarily collectible, not suited for rough play or cuddling
Best for: Holiday collectors and fans seeking a small, decorative plush ornament
Not ideal for: Children seeking large, huggable plush toys for active play or comfort
- Size:8 inches
- Material:Ultrasoft, high-quality fabric
- Official Product:Yes
Our verdict“Fleur is a charming, small holiday collectible ideal for fans and decorators who prefer compact plushies.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little) (Amazon Exclusive)
This 4-pack presents a lively assortment of holiday characters, including Ingred the Purple Cow and Omar the Santa Bear, offering a playful variety for gift-givers and collectors. Compared with the larger Nick or the tiny Fleur, this set emphasizes variety over size, making it perfect for stocking stuffers, holiday baskets, or expanding a collection with multiple characters. Its plush fabric is ultrasoft and durable, and the set’s exclusivity to Amazon might limit accessibility, but it provides excellent value for those wanting multiple festive plushies. The lack of specific size details and focus on small characters make it less suitable for kids who prefer larger, huggable plush toys.
Pros:- Includes four distinct holiday-themed characters
- Soft, ultrasoft plush fabric for comfort
- Official Jazwares product with festive designs
Cons:- Limited size information may affect expectations
- Available only through Amazon, reducing purchase flexibility
Best for: Holiday gift-givers and collectors seeking a variety of small, festive plush characters
Not ideal for: Buyers seeking large plush toys or specific characters outside this set
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Includes:4 Squishmallows
- Characters:Ingred, Omar, Marilyn, Luna
Our verdict“This set is perfect for holiday gifting and collection expansion with a cheerful variety of characters.”

Factors to Consider When Choosing Squishmallows Holiday List
Choosing the right Squishmallows holiday plush depends on several considerations that go beyond just appearance. Understanding these factors can help you pick a gift that matches your recipient’s preferences and your budget, ensuring a satisfying purchase that lasts beyond the holiday season.Size and Suitability for Recipients
Size plays a crucial role in selecting a Squishmallows plush. Smaller options, like Micromallows, are perfect for stocking stuffers or younger children, while larger plushes serve as main gifts or decorations. Consider the recipient’s age, space availability, and whether the plush will be a cuddly companion or a display piece. Oversized plushes may be more expensive but can make a stronger festive statement, whereas compact sizes are easier to gift and store.
Theme and Character Relevance
Holiday-themed characters like Santa, reindeer, or elves add a festive touch, but also think about whether the recipient appreciates seasonal decor or prefers year-round plushes. Some plushes are limited editions or exclusive sets, which can be more meaningful for collectors or fans. Balancing theme relevance with the recipient’s tastes ensures the plush will be cherished long after the holidays.
Price and Value
Holiday plushes vary widely in price based on size, character licensing, and packaging. While expensive plushes often come with exclusive designs or premium materials, budget-friendly options can still delight without breaking the bank. It’s worth comparing the quality and presentation to determine if the higher price reflects better durability or collector appeal. Remember, value isn’t just about cost but how well the plush matches your gift expectations.
Packaging and Presentation
Festive packaging can elevate the gift-giving experience, especially with special sets or advent calendars. Some products come in holiday-themed boxes or include decorative accessories, making them ready for gifting. Consider if the packaging enhances the holiday feel or if you might want to add your own wrapping or notes. Well-presented plushes can become keepsakes, especially if they’re part of a themed set or exclusive collection.
Durability and Comfort
Since plush gifts are often handled by children or used as decor, durability matters. Look for plushes with reinforced seams and high-quality materials to withstand holiday handling and cuddling. Comfort is also key—soft, well-stuffed plushes tend to be more appealing and longer-lasting. Avoid overly cheap or thin plushes that might lose shape or comfort quickly.
Versatility and Reusability
Consider if the plush can be enjoyed beyond the holiday season. Some designs are explicitly festive, while others have a general appeal that makes them suitable year-round. Plushes that double as decor or can serve as comforting companions often have longer appeal, providing value well after the holidays end. This versatility can justify a higher price point in some cases.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are Squishmallows suitable for all ages during the holidays?
Yes, Squishmallows are designed to be safe and soft for children of all ages, making them popular holiday gifts across age groups. For younger kids, choose smaller or plush-safe options to prevent choking hazards, while older children and adults might appreciate larger or collector editions. Always check the age recommendations on packaging to ensure safety and suitability.
Do holiday-themed Squishmallows come in limited editions?
Many holiday Squishmallows are released as limited editions or exclusive sets, especially around festive seasons. These can become collector’s items and often feature unique packaging or character designs. However, limited editions tend to be priced higher and may sell out quickly, so purchasing early can secure these special items for holiday gifting.
Are there eco-friendly or sustainable options among holiday Squishmallows?
While most Squishmallows are made from synthetic materials, some brands are moving toward more eco-conscious fabrics and production methods. Checking the packaging or product details can reveal if the plush is made with recycled or sustainable materials. For environmentally conscious buyers, considering these options can add value and align with eco-friendly gifting practices.
What size Squishmallows should I choose for a child under 5?
For children under five, smaller plushes like the 5-inch or 8-inch options are safest and easiest to handle. These sizes are less likely to be overwhelming or pose a safety risk. Additionally, smaller plushes are perfect for young children to cuddle or carry around, making them a practical holiday gift for toddlers and preschoolers.
Can I wash Squishmallows holiday plushes easily?
Most Squishmallows are machine washable, but it’s essential to follow the care instructions provided. Typically, gentle washing and air drying help maintain the plush’s softness and shape. This ease of cleaning makes them practical gifts that can be kept fresh and cuddly through the years, especially if they’re handled frequently during the holiday season.
Conclusion
For shoppers seeking the best overall holiday Squishmallows, the Original Holiday Micromallows Plush Bouquet offers a versatile and charming option suitable for most recipients. Those prioritizing value should consider the Holiday 4-Pack sets, which provide festive variety at a lower cost. Collectors or gift-givers looking for a premium experience might prefer limited editions like the Nick the Santa Claus Plush. Beginners or casual buyers should focus on smaller, budget-friendly options like the Zumir The Green Moose, while those with specific decor or character preferences can choose themed plushes like the Holiday Fox. This lineup ensures a choice for every holiday gifting style and budget.
